Gadkari approves two road projects worth Rs 350 billion in Pune

Nitin Gadkari, Union Roads and Transport Minister, pleasantly surprised the people of Pune by announcing a special Diwali gift. He revealed that two groundbreaking road projects worth Rs 350 billion had been approved, with the aim of addressing traffic congestion in Pune district and elevating the overall transportation infrastructure.

The sanctioned projects involve the implementation of two significant road developments in Pune city, with a substantial investment of Rs 350 billion. The noteworthy triple plan includes the construction of flyovers, roads, and a metro network, forming a comprehensive strategy to address traffic challenges and promote sustainable urban development.

A key highlight of the announcement was the inclusion of a new highway that would connect Pune and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. This move is anticipated to considerably enhance regional connectivity, enabling faster and smoother travel between these prominent locations.
