PM Modi inaugurates under-river metro tunnel in Kolkata

Prime Minister Modi to inaugurate the under-river metro tunnel in Kolkata on March 6th 2024, said Ashwini Vaishnaw, Railway Minister. The metro has progressed in several phases. The current phase is built for the city's East-West metro corridor.

The Railway Minister also informed that this project started in the 1970s and has made tremendous progress in the past ten years under the Modi government.

That's the focus the prime minister puts on getting infrastructure in place and building a foundation for a country which will be a developed nation by 2047, he said.
