The proposal for constructing a railway line connecting Dehradun to Mussoorie is currently pending approval, amidst delays in hydropower projects in the region. The railway line, aimed at enhancing connectivity to the popular hill station of Mussoorie, awaits clearance from the concerned authorities.

The project, which has been under consideration for several years, aims to improve accessibility and reduce travel time between Dehradun and Mussoorie. However, its progress has been hindered by environmental concerns and regulatory approvals, especially in light of ongoing hydropower initiatives in the area.
