Essar Ports to handle iron ore handling complex at Vizag port

The Visakhapatnam Port Trust´s iron ore handling complex has been handed over to Essar Ports Ltd (EPL) on a BOT basis for 30 years. Essar Vizag Terminals, will build three berths (two outer harbour berths and one inner one) with a combined capacity of 23 mpta in two phases. The project will be developed at a cost of Rs 1,200 crore over three years.
