In a bid to enhance passenger safety and improve operational efficiency, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has implemented a series of advanced surveillance and infrastructure upgrades at Level Crossing (LC) gates across its network.According to Kapinjal Kishore Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of NFR, high-resolution CCTV cameras have been installed at 28 LC gates to reduce risks associated with unauthorised access and vehicle obstructions.
