Haryana CM lays foundation stone for nine projects at Rs 19.82 cr

Manohar Lal Khattar, the chief minister of Haryana, set the foundation of nine projects worth Rs 19.82 crore in a programme arranged nearby Maharaja Agrasen Chowk in Karnal.

Of the nine projects, five were under the Smart City ones, and a total of Rs 13.26 crore would be invested in these projects.

Out of the four projects of Zilla Parishad and Panchayati Raj, two were inaugurated, and the other two were set for the foundation for Rs 6,56,29,000.

The chief minister also inaugurated the Project Cultural Corridor of Smart City. Similarly, Namaste Chowk is developed as well and enhanced for the people coming from Delhi.

Seven entrances have been constructed near Karnal.

Khattar told the media that these projects would enhance the beauty of the Karnal city and the district and people both would get the benefits.

He informed that the citizens receive facilities without any discrimination. The work has been done adequately to make Pehchan Patra. By this people would get benefits from government schemes. Earlier, these benefits were only available to those earning Rs 10,000 per month. The limit has been extended to Rs 1.80 lakh yearly.

Under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, free treatment is available up to Rs 5 lakh to eligible people in a year. Earlier, 15 lakh families were receiving these benefits. Now, additional 12 lakh families have been added by the central government.

Within one month, each house in the state would get a domestic gas connection, and by 1st November 2021, every household would receive a drinking water connection.

As per the decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, each needy person would get 5 kg foodgrains for free, till coming November.
