The development was possible due to the 23 SRDP projects with an investment of Rs 2,028 crore. Of the 23 projects, 19 were executed by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), Road and Buildings Department and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). 25 SRDP projects are undergoing, with Rs 6,064 crore in different parts of the city.

The first project completed under the SRDP was Ayyappa Society Underpass. It was inaugurated in 2018 and has helped in reducing traffic on Shilparamam Road. Another project, Mindspace Underpass, was also inaugurated, which helped vehicles move towards Gachibowli and other areas from Cyber Towers.
