GMDA asks for early completion of water pipeline project in Gwal Pahari

The Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) has been urged by the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) to begin work on a 450 mm water delivery pipeline in Gwal Pahari as soon as possible.

The project, which was started in 2012 but hasn't yet been finished, has prompted the authority to request that HSVP take action against the relevant officials.

Over the past few years, Gwal Pahari residents have been calling for the same thing. They claim that because the village relies on borewells for its drinking water, the water level has been steadily dropping. It is crucial that GMDA start supplying the village with canal water as soon as possible.
