Gujarat forms steering committee

Gujarat Government has constituted a steering committee after Japan showed keen interest in setting up an eco-township at Dahej, as a part of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor. Japanese and Gujarat governments had earlier planned partnership in shipbuilding, solar energy and renewable energy.

It has decided to go ahead with the eco-township project in Dahej, where industrial waste from south Gujarat will be recycled and used in township construction.
