UltraTech launches Ultravolt wires and cables businessAditya Birla Group has launched Ultravolt, its wires and cables business housed under UltraTech Cement, with an investment of Rs 1,800 crore. The business is backed by a new manufacturing facility at Jhagadia, Gujarat, and offers home wires, flexible wires and cables for residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure applications. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari honoured NCC and NHAI officials for their contribution to the Dr Keshav Baliram Pant Hedgewar Flyover in Nagpur. The officials received appreciation letters recognising their role in the project.Kirby Building Systems has broken ground on its fourth pre-engineered steel building manufacturing facility in Manapparai near Trichy, Tamil Nadu. Spread across approximately 33.2 acres, the facility will have an annual capacity of 100,000 metric tonnes, taking Kirby India’s total manufacturing capacity to 400,000 metric tonnes annually.
