NTPC begins dispatching coal using rakes from Talaipalli mines

The Lara Super Thermal Power Project (LSTPP) in Chhattisgarh started receiving coal via rakes from the state-owned NTPC's Talaipalli mines, the company announced y. The distance on the track between Talaipalli and Lara is 65 kilometres.

The public sector enterprise has sent its first coal rake to the NTPC Lara Super Thermal Power Project in Chhattisgarh from the NTPC Talaipalli coal mines.

The start of rake loading opens the door for Talaipalli Mine to dispatch coal in an efficient and environmentally responsible manner to satisfy the coal needs of 1,600 MW NTPC Lara, Gurdeep Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of NTPC, and other business representatives signalled the start of the maiden rake dispatch from Talaipalli mine to LSTPP.
