SIS bags Rs 225 cr project to provide security solutions to CIL arm

Security and Intelligence Services (India) Limited (SIS) told the media that it had acquired a project worth Rs 225 crore to provide security solutions to Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), an arm of Coal India Limited (CIL).

As a part of this acquisition, the company will provide security personnel in several categories to provide security solutions across 18 sites of MCL at Sambalpur, Bhubaneshwar, IB Valley Coalfields and Talcher Coalfields.

SIS Limited announced that it had won a two year contract worth around Rs 225 crore to provide security solutions to 18 sites of MCL located across the country with an option to renew over one year.

The firm's consolidated net profit increased 2% to Rs 100.51 crore on a 10% growth in sales to Rs 2,600.85 crore in Q3 FY22 over Q3 FY21.

SIS provides a wide range of services including security services, home alarm monitoring and response, cash logistics services, and electronic security as well as facility management services.
