Vedanta´s Talwandi Sabo Power Plant Becomes Fully Operational

Vedanta´s 1,980 MW Talwandi Sabo thermal power plant has become fully operational with the 660 MW third unit starting commercial generation. Talwandi Sabo Power Ltd (TSPL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vedanta, had set up a coal-based supercritical thermal power plant in district Mansa of Punjab. TSPL had signed a power purchase agreement with the Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd for the establishment of 1,980 MW (three units of 660 MW each) thermal coal-based commercial power facilities.
