Sri Lotus Secures Rs 16-Billion Juhu Redevelopment

Sri Lotus Developers & Realty has been appointed through its subsidiary as the developer for a large-scale commercial-cum-retail redevelopment project in Juhu, Mumbai.

The project involves the redevelopment of a prominent and established commercial shopping complex located in one of Juhu’s prime areas.

The proposed development will comprise premium commercial and retail spaces with an estimated total carpet area of approximately 3.46 lakh sq ft. The project has an estimated Gross Development Value of Rs 16 billion.

Construction is expected to commence in the third quarter of FY28, with completion targeted within approximately three to four years from the commencement date.

The appointment strengthens Sri Lotus Developers’ redevelopment portfolio and expands its presence in Mumbai’s premium commercial and retail property market.

Anand K Pandit, Chairman and Managing Director, Sri Lotus Developers & Realty, said commercial establishments across Mumbai’s prime micro-markets were increasingly choosing redevelopment to unlock value, upgrade infrastructure and create modern spaces that meet occupier requirements.

He added that Juhu was well positioned to benefit from the trend due to its strategic location and limited availability of new commercial properties.

The project is aligned with the company’s strategy of expanding its footprint across high-value and supply-constrained locations for commercial redevelopment in Mumbai."
