CEAT Ties Up with CleanMax for 59 MW Hybrid RE Projects

CEAT Limited has partnered with CleanMax to develop 59 MW of hybrid wind–solar renewable energy projects across multiple states, aimed at supplying clean power to CEAT’s key manufacturing facilities. The projects will be implemented under the group captive model and are expected to significantly reduce the company’s carbon footprint while ensuring long-term energy cost optimisation.

The renewable capacity will be deployed across CEAT’s plants located in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu, supporting the company’s sustainability roadmap and commitment to increasing its share of green energy in operations. Once operational, the hybrid projects are expected to supply a substantial portion of CEAT’s electricity requirements through a combination of wind and solar generation, improving reliability and energy security.

CleanMax will be responsible for the development, execution and operation of the projects, leveraging its expertise in multi-state renewable deployments. The partnership aligns with CEAT’s broader ESG strategy and India’s transition towards cleaner industrial energy consumption.
