HPCL invites bids for 628 KW solar capacity in Tamil Nadu

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) has invited e-bids for pre annual maintenance contract (AMC) services and comprehensive annual maintenance contract (CAMC) for solar power plants of 628 KW capacity in Tamil Nadu.

The deadline to submit the bids is 15 August 2021, and the interested bidder will have to deposit Rs 43,477 as earnest money deposit (EMD). Since it is online bidding, manual bids will not be accepted.

The work includes pre-AMC servicing of the 628 KW solar plants, including two ground-mounted plants of 258 KW and 250 KW capacity and 128 KW capacity of roof-mounted solar plants and to achieve a Net Minimum Generation Guarantee. According to the tender, the bidder should provide a comprehensive contract for operation and maintenance (O&M) for the 628 KW solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant for three years quarterly.

To participate in the bidding, the annual turnover of the bidder should be at least Rs 6.5 lakh for the last three years. The bidder should have completed similar work in the previous seven years. The bidder should have completed at least one similar work of not less than Rs 17.4 lakh in the last seven years, or two similar works of not less than Rs 10.9 lakh or three similar works of not less than Rs 8.7 lakh in the previous seven years.

The bidder should attach a scanned copy of the work order or purchase order, defining the scope of work, delivery period and terms. The bidder should also submit a scanned copy of the completed work certificate, mentioning the value of work, scope of work, completion of work within the delivery period, or details of delay, if any.
