Inox Wind Secures 102.3 MW Turbine Supply Order

Inox Wind has secured a 102.3 MW turbine supply order from ABREL EPC Ltd, a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Renewables, strengthening its order book in the Indian wind energy sector.

The company will supply its 3.3 MW wind turbine generators for projects being developed by ABREL EPC Ltd in Karnataka, Inox Wind said in a statement. The order supports Aditya Birla Renewables’ plans to scale up clean energy capacity and deliver long-term renewable power solutions.

Commenting on the development, Inox Wind Chief Executive Officer Sanjeev Agarwal said Aditya Birla Renewables has ambitious plans to expand its clean energy portfolio, and the company is pleased to contribute to India’s energy transition and decarbonisation goals. He added that Inox Wind continues to build relationships with new customers while strengthening existing partnerships.

Inox Wind Ltd is a leading wind energy solutions provider serving independent power producers, utilities, public sector undertakings and corporate investors. The company is part of the multi-billion-dollar INOXGFL Group, which operates primarily across chemicals and renewable energy businesses.

The company has five manufacturing facilities located in Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, where it manufactures key components including blades, tubular towers, hubs and nacelles.
