Smarten launches hybrid solar PSU with MPPT in Indian market

Smarten Power Systems launched a new high-capacity hybrid solar power control unit (PCU).

The solar PCU, SUPERB MPPT 3050, is valued at Rs 19,999 and is one of the most advanced solar off-grid maximum power point tracking (MPPT) PCUs in the Indian market.

The company said that PCU had been developed with high-end technology that delivers an uninterrupted power supply, packed with a 50 amp charge controller, a necessity during increased battery-fire accidents.

The regulators ensure the users know batteries status and avoid issues like overheating and explosions.

CEO and Director of Smarten Rajnish Sharma said that the Smarten SUPERB MPPT 3050 solar PCU is a part of the company's effort to stay at the forefront of technology and product innovation.

He added that the PCU provides the best possible performance in terms of efficiency and reliability. The product offers advanced features, including Smart Solar Optimisation usage settings, grid-charging disable option, etc. The solar PCU has been developed keeping in mind the customers' needs who want to use solar energy as an alternative power source.

This 2,400 W solar PCU is designed for commercial spaces, which will operate on 1 tonne of 4/5 star air conditioners. It also includes an advanced priority feature that allows the users to choose between solar, batteries or grid power.

It is well-equipped with sine-wave technology and packed with consumer-centric features. The Smarten MPPT 3050 aims to play a key part in shifting from conventional energy sources.

The company was founded in 2014, offering power backup products ranging from home UPS and inverters to solar-based PSU and others.
