Sridhar Chinta, Managing Director, Navayuga Engineering Company (NECL), is the talk of the country. Under his leadership, the company has set the Guinness World Record for the ‘most concrete continuously poured in 24 hours’ and the ‘largest continuous concrete pour’ at the Polavaram irrigation project. The flagship entity of the Rs 250-billion Navayuga Group is currently building the world’s largest flood discharge capacity dam at Polavaram in Andhra Pradesh. NECL created the world record by pouring 32,315 cu m of concrete in 24 hours. Indeed, under Chinta’s guidance, NECL has showcased its superior and world-class engineering capabilities and made India proud. What’s more, the company is also expecting to clock a Rs 100-billion turnover over the next three years as it expects to close the current financial year with a topline of Rs 60 billion. With Chinta leading the way, NECL is all geared up to set up many such marvellous records in the future.
