Through its WE CARE initiative , WIRTGEN INDIA has supported the fight for COVID through various CSR initiatives. The organisation, along with a substantial contribution by the employees, has donated a sum of Rs.30 lakh to the PM Cares fund. Wirtgen India also donated CSR funds to NGO United Ways for supporting ground level activities which included – supplying healthcare equipment, cooked meals, groceries and essentials to the stranded and the affected people.Distribution of essential kits to the migrant labourers as well as supply of PPE kits to the local police and the medical staff was done and will be continued as required, said a release by the firm.“While being true to our motto – Close To Our Customers, we at Wirtgen India are being socially responsible and are also Close To Our Community,” said the company in a release.(Communication by the management of the company)

The Modern Coach Factory (MCF) in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, has reached a major production milestone with the manufacture of its 15,000th passenger coach on December 15, the Ministry of Railways said. During the current financial year 2025–26, the unit has produced a total of 1,310 coaches so far.
