Gadkari Unveils Green Mobility Plan With New Tech, Faster Roads
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has outlined an ambitious blueprint for next-generation mobility, featuring electric rapid transport, ropeways, hyperloop systems, cable-run buses and funicular railways to transform both urban and remote travel in India. Six Firms Shortlisted for Rs 12.9 Billion Gurugram Metro Work
The Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL) has shortlisted six out of eight companies as eligible for the Rs 12.86 billion construction tender for Phase 1 of the Gurugram Metro project. A senior GMRL official stated that financial bids are currently under evaluation, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest compliant bidder by the end of July.Last week, the general consultant tender was finalised and awarded to a joint venture between DB and Hill International.
