The Union Ministry of Civil Aviation and the AAI have approved the state government´s proposal to build a new hangar at the Begumpet airport in Hyderabad. The total area of 8,880 sq m has been allotted on a lease basis, for Rs 1 per sq m for 30 years. The plan is to build a four-storeyed hangar designed to park a helicopter, aircraft, APACL administration office, a VIP lounge, a mini conference hall, pilot operations room, maintenance room (workshop) and a store room for spare parts. The entire project is estimated to cost Rs 100 crore and will be completed in three years.

South East Central Railway (SECR) has invited bids for an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract to build a new broad gauge single line between Paradol Takeoff Point and Nagpur Road Station in Chhattisgarh.
