The travel time between Bengaluru and Mysuru will soon be reduced to 75 minutes from the current duration of three hours when the 117 km long highway opens to the public. The construction work on Karnataka’s 10-lane Bengaluru-Nidaghatta-Mysuru section of NH-275 is nearing completion and is expected to be open by October. The development project is carried out at a cost of Rs 8,350 crore and it would help in boosting connectivity between Bengaluru and Mysuru while providing an impetus to the economy and tourism in the region. The state-of-art project comprises multiple structures such as an elevated corridor of 8 km, major bridges, minor bridges, underpasses, overpasses, Road Over Bridges, and bypasses which will further ease traffic congestion and also help in a significant reduction of pollution.Contact: Ministry of Road Transport and HighwaysWebsite: www.morth.nic.in
