The Railways is promoting its state-of-the-art technology and digital facilities in its functioning. Madhya Pradesh has also developed the passenger facilities of Indian Railways. Foot Over Bridges (FOBs), high-level platforms, waiting rooms and covered over sheds at 117, 117, 306 and 270 railway stations. Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS) counters at 289 railway stations, 134 Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters and 109 Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs) at 58 railway stations, with easy ticketing facility from counters, with getting tickets quickly and reservations in any class between stations through PRS counters, are also available.
