BKT Showcases Tyre Innovation at Agritechnica Asia

Leading off highway tyre manufacturer Balkrishna Industries (BKT) has returned to Agritechnica Asia, the inaugural spin-off of the global Hanover agricultural machinery exhibition. From 21–23 May, over 15,000 trade visitors at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) can explore the latest innovations and technologies driving modern agriculture.

At booth F17, BKT and its long-term Thai partner, Chavakit Ruam Yang, showcase a broad product portfolio addressing Southeast Asia’s agricultural needs, where soil protection and product longevity are critical. The collaboration spans more than two decades and highlights BKT’s radial solutions designed to reduce soil compaction, increase load capacity, and enhance productivity.

Featured exhibits include HARVESTER SPECIAL, a premium heavy-duty tyre for Thai sugarcane harvesters, offering dual-angle lugs for excellent traction in fields and smooth road performance. The AGRIMAX range—such as AGRIMAX RT 657, RT 855, and RT 955—supports soil tillage, road use, and row crop applications. Visitors can also explore the TR range, including TR 135, delivering superior tillage performance under challenging conditions.

BKT Tyres emphasises smart design for automated and high-powered machinery, optimising fuel efficiency, operational performance, and long-term reliability. The company and Chavakit Ruam Yang welcome visitors at booth F17 through 22 May.

Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Mumbai, Balkrishna Industries is a leading Off Highway Tyre manufacturer with over 3,600 specialised products for agriculture, industrial, construction, mining, earthmoving, and material handling. BKT serves customers across 163 countries and produces rubber tracks for agriculture and industrial applications. Its integrated manufacturing ecosystem includes in-house carbon black production and dedicated R&D centres for product innovation and application-specific design. Recently, BKT entered the Indian Two-Wheeler, Passenger Car, and Commercial Vehicle tyre markets.
