CASE India rolls out its Made-in-India Skid Steer Loader

CASE Construction Equipment, a CNH brand, has rolled out its Made-in-India Skid Steer Loader (SSL) for the domestic market from its state-of-the-art facility in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. The company announced the foray of its indigenously made SSL in India during last edition of CII EXCON, extending its product range in the country. It has handed over the SSL – SR130B machine to the first Indian customer, Global Enterprises based in Pune. This marks as a momentous occasion in CASE's journey to cater to the evolving needs of the Indian construction industry.
Shalabh Chaturvedi, MD, CASE Construction Equipment (India and SAARC) said, “We are delighted to offer our made-in-Pithampur Skid Steer Loader for the Indian market." The company’s only plant in the country has a women-led production line to manufacture the world class quality SSL.

Ammann Group completes acquisition of Volvo CE’s ABG Pavers
Ammann Group has finalised acquisition of the ABG paving product line from Volvo Construction Equipment (CE). Hans-Christian Schneider, CEO, Ammann said, “ABG is a strong brand that we’re proud to welcome to Ammann,” said. “We will continue to build on ABG’s exceptional product line and provide complete road building solutions.” The transaction includes the transfer of Volvo CE’s paving businesses in Linyi (China) and Bangalore (India) as well as Volvo CE´s ABG facility in Hameln (Germany). ABG pavers and screeds will continue to be produced at the Hameln facility. The group’s production facilities in Mehsana, India; and Suzhou, China will also begin production in the near future.

ZEVO, Zen Mobility will now transform the last mile deliveries in India
ZEVO, a tech-enabled EV mobility platform, has announced a strategic partnership with Zen Mobility, an emerging Indian electric vehicle OEM, to transform the landscape of last-mile deliveries in India. The Zen Micro Pod is a specialised vehicle designed to navigate the congested urban roads of India. This collaboration is set to enhance delivery efficiency and reliability, benefiting services such as Zomato, Swiggy and other similar services. EV ride-hailer seeks $300 million to expand car fleet
BluSmart, India’s biggest electric cab operator, wants to raise over $300 million in three years to add thousands of cars to its fleet in its push to take on the likes of Uber Technologies Inc. in the fast-growing market. The company will increase its Indian fleet of electric vehicles — supplied by Tata Motors, BYD Co, SAIC Motor Corp’s MG Motor and Stellantis NV’s Citroën — to 13,000 from 7,500 currently, Punit Goyal, co-founder of the BP Ventures-backed start-up, said that in three years it aims to have 25,000 cars.
