Berkshire Hathaway real estate division expands operations in India

Residential real estate company Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, has expanded its operations in the country with Orenda India.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Orenda India will be offering its services in Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Ayodhya, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune and Goa.

The chairman of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Gino Blefari, told the media that they are looking forward to assisting them in expanding services to all of the major cities throughout India and building a team of around 1,000 real estate professionals.

The company told the media that Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Orenda India agents would have access to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices' active referral and relocation networks and its Real Estate I.Q. System.

The real estate sector will contribute 13% to the country's GDP by 2025 and is estimated to reach $ 1 trillion by 2030.

The company has added franchisees in London, Dubai, Madrid, Barcelona, Marbella, Lisbon, Milan, Berlin, Frankfurt, Toronto, Quebec, San Miquel de Allende and Cancun, over the past three years.

Founded in 1998, Berkshire Hathaway Homeservices is a residential real estate company with $7.02 billion worth assets as of 2017. The company offers real estate brokerage services, mortgage loan, franchising, title insurance/escrow and closing services,casualty insurance, relocation services, home warranties and property insurance.
