DDA to enroll buyers for new scheme starting November 24

The commencement of the registration process for 32,000 recently constructed flats under the Festival Special Housing Scheme, 2023, by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has been scheduled to begin from the upcoming weekend. These flats are situated in Dwarka in southwest Delhi, Loknayak Puram in west Delhi, and Narela in northwest Delhi.

As per DDA officials' announcement, the registration for approximately 28,000 flats designated for the low-income group (LIG) and economically weaker section (EWS), to be sold on a first-come-first-serve basis, is set to initiate on November 24. The registration process for flats available through e-auction will commence at the end of November, accompanied by a nominal registration fee. Registrants will be granted a minimum of 20 days to personally visit the flats.

Officials stated that, for the first time, an e-auction is planned for flats in the middle-income group, high-income group, super high-income group, and penthouse categories. This initiative will allow buyers to assess the prices of flats in various blocks and locations. A total of 1,100 luxury flats, including penthouses and super high-income group (HIG) flats, located at Dwarka 19B overlooking the upcoming golf course of DDA, will be put up for auction. Additionally, there are 316 middle-income group (MIG) flats in Sector 14, Dwarka, and 647 in Loknayak Puram, all of which will be sold through an auction.
