Gillco Unveils Meraqui Luxury Residences On Mohali Skyline

Gillco Group unveiled Meraqui, an ultra-luxury residential development on PR-7 Airport Road in Sector 126, Mohali. The project occupies 12 acres and comprises 444 premium residences in six towers with three plus one-bedroom and four plus one-bedroom layouts, landscaped greens, wellness-led amenities and a premium retail component for everyday convenience. It is presented as a landmark address for Mohali's evolving skyline.

Meraqui is the first fully independent development to be led by Tejpreet Singh Gill as Managing Director and the company framed it as both a continuation of an established legacy and a statement of a new chapter. The developer said the ambition was to move the Gillco brand towards a design-led and experience-led future, building on trust accrued over the past 25 years. The project was described as a defining leadership milestone for the group.

The design draws on classical Greek and Roman principles to inform a striking façade, a grand entrance pavilion, porte-cochère, water features and manicured landscapes planned to create a strong visual identity. The master architects said the brief sought a master plan and built form that felt timeless and responsive to local aspirations, while interior consultants indicated the homes were intended to convey proportion, symmetry and a sense of ceremony through scale and material detailing.

Planned amenities are intended to support comfort and wellness and include a clubhouse, pools, fitness and spa facilities, indoor recreation, dining and sports courts within landscaped grounds. Financially, the project involves a planned investment of approximately Rs seven billion (bn) to Rs eight billion (bn) and is projected to generate about Rs 12 billion (bn) in gross sales realisation; residences start from around Rs 40 million (mn) and per square foot pricing is about Rs 11,500. 250 of the 444 residences have been opened for sale, construction has commenced after statutory approvals and completion is expected within approximately four years in line with RERA timelines, and the group noted a delivery record of more than 17 projects, 43 million square feet and over 6,000 families.
