GujRERA extends deadline to submit annual reports to March 31

The Gujarat Real Estate Regulatory Authority (GujRERA) has further extended the deadline for annual reports submission on the statement of accounts by real estate developers for 2020-21 fiscal.

The last date to submit the reports has now been extended to March 31, 2022, from December 31, 2021, and will render relief to developers impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. It is the second extension to developers by the state regulator.

Earlier, the date for filing annual reports was extended to December 31, last year, from the actual deadline of September 30.

Recently, the regulator ordered that the deadline for the submission of Form-5 for the financial year 2020-21, which was due on September 9, 2021, as extended to December 31, 2021, is further extended to March 31, 2022.

Real estate developers are needed to present the annual report on the statement of accounts in Form-5 six months after the end of every financial year for every listed project.
