HSVP Demolishes Shanties to Boost Housing Project

The Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) has successively cleared 2,000 shanties in order to create space for an upcoming housing project. The move is an effort to address the increasing demand for affordable housing in the region.

HSVP, the urban development authority in Haryana, undertook this initiative to make way for a housing project aimed at providing affordable residential units to the public. The shanties, occupying unauthorized land, were posing difficulties for urban development and impeding the progress of the construction project.

The demolition drive executed by HSVP has cleared the path for the housing project as the illegal settlements were removed from the designated land. This will enable the authority to proceed with the development plans, ultimately benefitting residents in need of affordable accommodation.
