IDA approves Rs 2 B development projects in Indore

The Indore Development Authority (IDA) has sanctioned Rs 2 billion for development projects within IDA's TPS Schemes. This decision was made during a recent board meeting. Notably, tenders worth Rs 13.72 billion were approved, focusing primarily on road infrastructure and internal development aligned with the master plan of the TPS schemes. Additional allocations include Rs 60 million for electrification and Rs 50 million for beautification in Scheme No 155.

Moreover, Rs 2.6 million were allocated for garden development at Swami Vivekananda Higher Secondary School. In a bid to enhance amenities, a consultant-cum-transaction consultant was appointed to formulate a proposal for constructing a convention centre with a seating capacity of 10,000 in Scheme No 172.

Deva Swimming Institute Gurugram was chosen to oversee the operation, maintenance, and management of the under-construction international swimming pool in scheme number 94 Sector-F.

The board also decided to seek permission from the principal secretary to allocate a portion of the authority's actual income for various initiatives, including Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.

Furthermore, in accordance with the MP Town and Country Investment (Amendment) Act 2019, guidance will be sought from the government regarding the status of Scheme Number 171.

Regarding urban planning, the board resolved to secure necessary government permission, following the Madhya Pradesh Town and Village Investment Act (Amendment) 2019, for approving a mixed-use site for a high-rise building standing 90.00 meters tall at Startup Park in Sector-D of the Super Corridor.

Additionally, the board decided to enhance the contribution amount given to Ganeshotsav committees of closed textile mills to support the construction of Jhankis for the Ganesh immersion procession.
