Exciting laundry and store room by Sanjyt Syngh

A luxurious blend of form and function the laundry and storeroom are designed to give a luxe appeal and fresh contemporary look to a rather boring space. “Laundry and store rooms may not be at the top of your interior design wish list, but we design these luxury rooms with ideas that will convince you otherwise,” says Sanjyt Syngh.

Painted in an interesting muted blue and white combination, this space is far from boring. It creates a welcoming vibe and has the ability to change the mood of the one performing the function of laundry. The floor is made of marble placed in alternation of black and white stripes making it bright and vibrant.

The functional storage units from floor to the top have a clear design and structure that provide depth to the space and add colour to it too. The loft style storages at the top could be used to keep the less used items while the shelves at the bottom could be used to store utilities and items more used. The niches in the middle are negative spaces with a marble style wall paper that breaks the monotony and brightens up the space.

The empty space in the center of the room allows one to iron their laundry or keep a small seating to relax while they wait for the laundry to get done. The granite top on the shelves adds a contrasting colour to the aesthetics while giving structure to the space.

Further, ineffective planning, inadequate investigations or surveys and requests from the employer or those within the project’s area of influence can contribute to changes in the scope of work. Ext..
