JdVVNL Invites Bids For Rs 6,275 Million Rooftop Solar Scheme

Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited has invited competitive e?bids for a rooftop solar programme under the central government's PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, aiming to accelerate household adoption across the Jodhpur distribution region through a utility?led aggregation model on a capital expenditure basis. The tender covers design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of grid?connected rooftop solar systems and includes operation and maintenance obligations. The authority estimated the total project value at Rs 6,275 million (mn).

The scope envisages systems for 100,000 residential consumers, equivalent to 0.1 mn, with an initial operation and maintenance period of five years and an optional five year extension to secure long term performance. Successful bidders will be responsible for end?to?end delivery and for meeting the technical and quality standards set out in the tender. The programme is intended to expand household access to clean energy and lower electricity costs.

The tender documents became available for download and online submission on July 10, 2026 from 11:00 am, a pre?bid meeting is scheduled for July 15, and the online submission deadline is July 29, 2026 at 5:00 pm, with bids due to be opened on July 31 at 3:00 pm. Developers must pay a non?refundable tender document fee of Rs 10,000 plus 18 per cent GST and an e?procurement processing fee of Rs 2,950 inclusive of GST, payable by Demand Draft or Banker's Cheque to the Managing Director, RISL, Jaipur. Hard copies of the processing fee receipt and original Rajasthan non?judicial stamp documents must reach the Office of the Superintending Engineer (RE?DSM), Jodhpur by July 30 at 3:00 pm.

The tender requires an earnest money deposit equal to two per cent of the estimated project cost, which corresponds to Rs 125.5 million (mn) based on the stated value, and performance bank guarantee provisions are detailed in the tender.
