Offices have now moved away from the conventional idea of a standard brick-and-mortar building to a new, modern and sustainable ecosystem that prioritises worker wellness and safety while also scoring high on environmental standards.The building of Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd (KPCL)in Bengaluru sets a new benchmark of sustainability in office design and becomes only the second government building to achieve the Platinum Rating Certification under IGBC (Indian Green Building Council) for sustainable design. Insolation Energy on Monday announced securing multiple solar projects totalling 226.45 MW, with an investment of Rs 7.5 billion, under the PM-KUSUM scheme. State-owned Numaligarh Refinery Ltd. (NRL) has awarded a Letter of Award to Solarium Green Energy Ltd. for the rate contract covering the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of grid-connected rooftop solar PV projects at various locations.
