Rajasthan Govt forms Development Authorities in Bharatpur and Bikaner

The Urban Development and Housing Department of the Rajasthan government announced the establishment of development authorities in Bharatpur and Bikaner through a notification issued.

In a statement, it was mentioned that the state government has been consistently making significant decisions to ensure well-organized and planned urban development in areas with large populations.

The formation of these development authorities was approved during the Cabinet meeting held on November 30.

As per the statement, the Bikaner Development Authority will encompass the existing Municipal Development Trust area of Bikaner, Napasar, Deshnok, and 185 nearby villages. Similarly, the Bharatpur Development Authority will include 209 villages along with the current area of the Municipal Development Trust in Bharatpur.
