RHB grants 37 leases in Jaipur's Pratap Nagar to homeowners

For the first time, a public hearing was organized in Pratap Nagar by the Rajasthan Housing Board, where leases were issued to 37 house owners. With these leases, the house owners would obtain ownership rights on the RHB plots and would be eligible for various government facilities, such as the Bisalpur water.

The public hearing program had been scheduled for March 10 at the Circle Office Pratap Nagar to address and resolve the complaints and issues of common people in a transparent and sensitive environment.

Housing Commissioner Inderjit Singh and other officials listened to approximately 250 complainants during the public hearing, and out of these, 90 cases were resolved on the spot. The Commissioner instructed officers to handle the remaining cases within 7 days, according to a press release issued by the department.

During the public hearing, discussions revolved around outstanding amounts, allotment letter issuance, possession letter issuance, refund matters, unpaid certificates, name transfer after registration, name transfer after death, registration form issuance, lease issuance, and lump sum lease release certificates. An RHB official mentioned that problems such as house regularization and removal of encroachment from the board's land were also addressed.

Present at the hearing were Housing Board Secretary Praveen Kumar Aggarwal, Chief Engineer Manoj Gupta, and Deputy Housing Commissioner Bhagwan Sahay.
