TransIndia Meridian Crosses Rs 200 Crore Sales Milestone

TransIndia Group has crossed the Rs 2 billion sales milestone at TransIndia Meridian, its flagship residential development in Mumbai’s Sion–Matunga corridor, with more than 125 residences sold.

The project has witnessed strong end-user demand, particularly for its two-bedroom residences, with salaried professionals and families forming a significant share of buyers. According to the company, a large proportion of buyers are from within a three-to-four-kilometre radius of the development, indicating a preference for upgrading homes within established neighbourhoods.

The project has also attracted professionals working with multinational companies in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), supported by shorter commuting distances and access to established social infrastructure.

Located in the Sion–Matunga corridor, TransIndia Meridian offers connectivity to South Mumbai, BKC, Lower Parel, the western suburbs and Navi Mumbai. The area also provides access to educational institutions, healthcare facilities and other social infrastructure.

Spread across approximately 23 lakh sq ft, the development will comprise six residential towers offering two and three-bedroom residences. It will include landscaped open spaces, more than 90 lifestyle amenities, multi-level parking, retail frontage and Vastu-compliant layouts.

Rajendra M. Rajan, Founder, TransIndia Group, said the Rs 200 crore sales milestone validates the company’s vision for the project. He noted that demand has largely been driven by end-users, particularly salaried professionals seeking proximity to workplaces, families and social networks.

He added that buyers are increasingly prioritising neighbourhood quality, connectivity and long-term liveability, supporting demand for residential developments in established locations such as Sion–Matunga.

Construction at TransIndia Meridian is progressing, with excavation work for Tower 1 underway. Following the response to the first phase, the developer is also preparing to launch Tower 2.

The company expects the project’s location, residential configuration and lifestyle amenities to support continued demand from homebuyers seeking connectivity and long-term value in Central Mumbai.

Saluting Engineers on Engineer’s Day!

India’s infrastructure story is often told through kilometres of highways, soaring bridges, expanding metro networks and tunnels through some of the country’s toughest terrain. Less visible are the engineering decisions behind them. A railway through the Himalayas. A bridge across Mumbai Bay. A metro system built beneath a crowded capital. A 182-m-high structural landmark. A new generation of high-speed highways. Each demanded years of design, testing, coordination and problem-solving, often in conditions where there was little room for error. This Engineers’ Day, we lo..
