Union Living Adds 2,000 Beds Across Key Cities

Union Living has announced the addition of more than 2,000 beds to its managed accommodation portfolio across Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad, marking one of the company's largest expansion phases to date.

The expansion includes a 1,000-bed student housing and co-living property in Baner, Pune, a 450-bed flagship property in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) micro-market, a 200-bed property in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, and a 250-bed development in Ahmedabad. The company has also expanded its footprint in Pune with a new property in Lohegaon.

The design-led accommodation platform said the expansion is aimed at meeting growing demand for professionally managed rental housing among students and young professionals in key education and employment hubs.

"India's rental housing market is undergoing a significant transformation as students and young professionals increasingly seek professionally managed accommodation that combines convenience, quality services, and a strong sense of community," said Rishabh Soni, Co-founder and CEO, Union Living. "With the addition of more than 2,000 beds across strategically located education and employment-driven micro-markets, we are expanding access to purpose-built living spaces that offer seamless connectivity to academic institutions, business districts, transport networks and urban amenities."

Union Living said the new properties have been developed with globally inspired design standards, technology-enabled operations and hospitality-led services aimed at enhancing the urban living experience.

The company, which operates as a bootstrapped and profitable managed accommodation platform, is targeting annual recurring revenue (ARR) of Rs 1 billion in FY2026-27, up from Rs 450 million as of March 2026. It has also signed multiple build-to-suit projects across Pune, Ahmedabad and Mumbai, with nearly 300,000 sq. ft. currently under development.

These projects are expected to add more than 3,500 beds over the next two years as the company continues to expand across high-demand urban markets and strengthen its presence in India's evolving managed accommodation sector.
