WeWork Leases 22,700 Sq Ft in Chennai to Chargebee

WeWork India, the co-working arm of the global flexible workspace provider, has leased 22,700 square feet of office space to Chargebee, a global billing and monetisation platform, at one of its centres in Chennai.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, WeWork India Management Ltd confirmed that Chargebee has officially opened its new Chennai office at the leased premises. The expansion underscores Chargebee’s growing presence in India and its preference for premium, flexible workspace solutions to support its global operations.
WeWork India is currently operational across eight major cities, offering more than 100,000 desks. The company is also reportedly preparing for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in the near future, marking a significant milestone in its growth trajectory within the Indian commercial real estate market.
This leasing arrangement reinforces WeWork India’s role as a key enabler for enterprise and tech companies seeking scalable workspace solutions in India’s top business hubs.
