Yashasvi Jaiswal acquires Rs 5o.4 mn flat in Mumbai's Bandra

Yashasvi Jaiswal, the rising star in Indian cricket, has acquired a flat in X BKC for a sum close to Rs 50.4 million, as per the registration document examined by Liases Foras. The 1,100-square-foot apartment in wing 3 of the building in Bandra (East) was officially registered on January 7. The cost of the deal translates to Rs 48,499 per square foot.

The 22-year-old Jaiswal hails from modest beginnings. During his childhood in Mumbai, he resided in a tent at Azad Maidan. This was after his parents departed for their village, Badohi in Uttar Pradesh, while he pursued his cricketing aspirations. He eventually caught the attention of his childhood coach. At a certain point in time, he contributed by assisting a street vendor in selling pani puri at Azad Maidan.
