Bluebeam launches Task Link and mobile upgrades

Bluebeam, part of the Nemetschek Group, has announced the launch of Task Link along with major upgrades to its iOS and Android applications, aimed at unifying office and field teams across construction projects.

Task Link is described as a first-of-its-kind native integration between Bluebeam Revu and GoCanvas, enabling a connected workflow between planning and on-site execution. Through the integration, tasks can be pushed directly from Revu to the field, with real-time updates and automated notifications as work progresses. Field teams can capture verifiable on-site data using GoCanvas mobile forms, including photos, videos, signatures and structured inputs, with all submissions linked back to Revu markups to maintain a single source of truth.

Luke Prescott, Head of Product at Bluebeam, said the launch reflects the company’s focus on interoperability and connected workflows, helping teams reduce friction, strengthen accountability and collaborate more efficiently between the office and the field. Task Link is available to Bluebeam subscribers with an active GoCanvas subscription.

In parallel, Bluebeam has introduced mobile enhancements designed to improve field productivity and real-time collaboration through tighter integration with Studio. iOS updates include measurement tools for on-site verification, basic PDF form filling and offline access to Studio Projects. Android users gain image markups on drawings, a precision pen-eraser for cleaner edits and local PDF support for improved document access.

Bluebeam said the combined updates move construction teams closer to fully connected, data-driven workflows, enabling faster task handoffs, improved visibility and more informed decision-making across all phases of a project.
