Tata Motors launches Prima 2830.K REPTO RMC, with Enhanced Technology for higher Productivity. The Construction and Infrastructure sector has been the backbone and a key driver for the economic growth of the country. With increasing public and private investment in this sector, the country is set to become one of the world’s largest construction markets by 2022 with an overall growth pegged at 12 per cent. The introduction of newer technologies and materials is fuelling this high growth. With an increasing focus on high productivity, faster project delivery schedules and tighter quality control, the usage of Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) in these sectors is on the rise.Tata Motors, with its wide range of Fully-built RMC vehicles, has always been the preferred partner for the RMC industry. With the introduction of the new range of Rear Engine Power Take-off (REPTO) vehicles, Tata Motors has further augmented this range to enhance productivity and ensure least operating costs for its customers. The Prima 2830.K REPTO RMC, the first vehicle introduced in this range ensures high productivity with upto 11 per cent lower operating cost per cubic meter of concrete load. Powered with the powerful 225kW Cummins ISBe 6.7L BS6 engine, the Prima 2830.K REPTO RMC offers features, which ensure higher fuel savings. Its proven-PTO technology with a custom engineered gear train ensures high operating efficiency. The vehicle also features three unique technologically advanced drive modes – Light, Medium and Heavy – which allow the driver the freedom to choose the best power-torque combination based on the load-terrain-speed requirements. The advanced Engine brake feature ensures superior downhill control with savings in fuel. These inherent features maximise the vehicle productivity and minimise the fuel consumption for the vehicle, thereby ensuring higher revenue and lower operating costs. These vehicles are specially designed for the RMC Transit mixer application. Its chassis frame is robust and durable to sustain the cyclical loads of the rotating high-capacity drums. Heavy duty aggregates on the vehicle ensure sustained reliability – critical to the concrete transport business. The all new iCGT Brake system ensure cooler braking operations thereby improving the brake life by up to 40 per cent. They also result in enhanced tyre life. The Truck Hub Unit (THU), a unitised hub bearing offering, does not require any greasing throughout its life. These reliable vehicle aggregates reinforce the Power of Lower Total Cost of Ownership, through sustained lower operating costs and lower maintenance costs and at the same time ensure higher uptime and higher revenue for the operator. The Premium & Tough Prima cabin ensures a fatigue-free driving experience. The Prima 2830.K REPTO RMC comes with the standard fitment of Fleet Edge – Tata Motors’ next-gen digital solution for optimal fleet management, to further increase the uptime and reduce the total cost of ownership. Owners and operators can remotely track their vehicle, driver’s performance, fuel economy and get instant notification of fuel loss. The Fleet Edge is offered with a free subscription of 6 years. The Prima 2830.K REPTO RMC comes with 6 warranty. Tata Motors also offers Sampoorna Seva 2.0 and Tata Samarth – the company’s commitment to commercial vehicle driver welfare, uptime Guarantee, on-site service, and customised annual maintenance and fleet management solutions.
