The New myNORD from Nord Drivesystems

The new myNORD is a further development of the central customer portal of NORD DRIVESYSTEMS. The digital self-service solution focuses on a procurement process as efficient and transparent as possible. Thanks to advanced functions, the relaunch of the online tool allows for an easier configuration and ordering of drive technology than before. The expansion into an innovative and interactive e-commerce platform is making progress.

“At myNORD, our customers can interactively configure and order their required drive technology from the standard portfolio of gear units, motors, geared motors and drive electronics online”, explains Jörg Niermann, Marketing Manager at NORD DRIVESYSTEMS. “An easy-to-use and modern user interface, information on products and applications, a convenient product search, an explicit structure and intuitive navigation make the platform very user-friendly.” Currently, around 26,500 users worldwide are working with the portal.

How myNORD works
All configuration steps are carried out on one page. The features already selected and still to be selected are clearly displayed in a summary at the right of the screen so that the user can easily keep an eye on them.

Various search options such as motor power, output speed or output torque facilitate the selection of the optimal drive technology. Thanks to the new plausibility check, the product configurator only displays those options matching the entered requests – for an error-free compilation of the required drive technology. Additional information and explanatory texts support the user and facilitate the configuration. Furthermore, online configuration and conformity checking of ATEX geared motors are also possible now.

More advantages of myNORD:

  • Download of the complete standard documentation
  • Quick and easy project management
  • Direct option to enquire and order online at NORD
  • Updated layout for offers and data sheets
  • Clear product display
  • “The new myNORD provides our customers with a tool that allows for practical and quick support facilitating common business processes”, says Jörg Niermann. “At myNORD, they can easily process their projects online – whenever they want and wherever they are.”
