Nippon Paint launches ACED Awards 2021 for civil engineers in TN

Asia's largest paint manufacturer Nippon Paint Pvt Ltd has launched the first edition of the Architectural and Civil Engineering Design Awards (ACED Awards 2021) to felicitate creations executed by civil engineers across Tamil Nadu.

Winners will be selected by researching various aspects such as the use of renewable resources in construction, the use of local materials available in the respective towns, the aesthetic features of the building, the novelty of the design, human-centred design, the use of space, the design suitable for the environment, colour choice and cost optimisation.

Gold, Silver and Bronze winners will be chosen for two categories: residential and commercial, by the prestigious jury of industry experts. Subcategory of awards include Best colour choice, Best green project and Popular choice award (based on likes on social media platform Facebook).

The Nippon Paint panel will decide the top 25 projects in the first phase, from which the judges will decide the top five winners.

Apart from the cash prizes of up to Rs 10,000, the winners will also get an opportunity to visit Nippon Paint factory.

Eligibility for participation:

Participating Civil engineers can submit a minimum of one to a maximum of 20 projects. They can submit not only completed projects, but also your projects currently under construction. (Submit only projects that will be completed within three months).

Completed projects should not be earlier than three years. They must describe the uniqueness of their project in a few lines when submitting their project pictures. They should also mention why their project deserves to succeed.

If the project is currently in progress, all render images should be in the colour code of the Nippon Paint Shade Card only. Entries need to be sent before 31 July 2021.
