Projects worth over Rs 1.66 trillion kicked off Gujarat

Projects worth a combined investment of over Rs 1.66 trillion, for which Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) were signed during the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, have been reportedly initiated in Gujarat. 

Reportedly, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani informed that 1,737 projects are either under implementation stage, or inaugurated or have seen foundation stone laying ceremonies.

Of the 1,737 prjects, 459 projects with a proposed investment of Rs 247.43 billion have been reportedly inaugurated, while 1,030 projects worth an investment of Rs 1,095.93 billion are under implementation at present. Besides, foundation stones for 248 projects worth Rs 320.11 billion have been laid. 

MoUs were earlier signed for these projects during the ninth edition of Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2019. Reportedly, projects worth Rs 1.11 trillion were announced to be launched in March.
