The agreement is expected to leverage this domain expertise to support capability development in space situational awareness.

The signing took place at the Embassy and was described by participants as reinforcing Franco–Indian cooperation in space and defence technologies. Company representatives and members of the French delegation attended the event and outlined plans for technical collaboration, research partnerships and capacity building. AXISCADES indicated it would work on joint initiatives to develop operational capabilities and systems relevant to monitoring and protecting space assets. Planned cooperation will focus on technical exchange, capability building, joint research and testing to enhance operational readiness and resilience of space systems. The company expects the partnership to accelerate development of sensors, analytics and command and control systems.
