AXISCADES Signs Franco-Indian Agreement On Space Situational Awareness

On 25 February 2026 AXISCADES Technologies Limited (AXISCADES) signed an agreement at the Embassy of France in New Delhi in the presence of Ms Eléonore Caroit, Minister Delegate to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, as part of the delegation accompanying the President of the French Republic to India. The accord was established to enhance India's capability in space situational awareness and to promote collaboration between Indian and French institutions. The signing formalised a partnership aimed at sharing expertise and aligning strategic objectives in space domain awareness.\n\nAXISCADES is a leading end to end technology, product and solutions provider supporting innovation, sustainability and safety in aerospace, defence and ESAI domains. The company is headquartered in Bengaluru and maintains subsidiaries and offices in France, Germany, Denmark, the United States and Canada. AXISCADES employs over 3,000 professionals across 17 locations worldwide and focuses on reducing programme risk and accelerating time to market for its clients.\n\nThe company reported long term relationships with the Defence Forces, the Ministry of Defence, defence laboratories and public sector undertakings alongside partnerships with global original equipment manufacturers. AXISCADES has developed domain expertise in weapon systems, avionics, radar and electronic warfare, as well as in command, control, communications and intelligence systems, unmanned aerial systems, anti drone solutions, test solutions and ground support equipment. Its track record includes in house projects and partnered solutions for land, naval and aerospace applications as well as homeland security deployments.\n\nUnder the agreement AXISCADES will work with French partners and Indian agencies to enhance detection, tracking and collision avoidance capabilities and to support systems that monitor objects in orbit. The collaboration is expected to span capability development, technology transfer and operational support while adhering to regulatory and security requirements. The partnership is intended to strengthen India's situational awareness and resilience in the space domain.
