Dana India is delighted to announce that Gajanan Gandhe, the Country Head and Vice President, has been bestowed with the Distinguished Service Award at the prestigious Indian institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay). This esteemed recognition was presented during the institute?s Annual Alumni Day held recently at VMCC on the campus.

Gajanan Gandhe, a graduate in Civil Engineering from the class of 1986, received the esteemed Distinguished Service Award in recognition of his outstanding achievements. Beyond excelling in his chosen field, Mr. Gandhe has played a vital and enduring role in advancing the institute. The award symbolizes the institute's deep appreciation for Gandhe's lasting impact. His recognition stands as a testament to the caliber of individuals emerging from IIT Bombay, making substantial and lasting contributions.

Currently at the helm of Dana India, Gajanan Gandhe leads business units, functional teams, and plays a pivotal role in driving the company's strategic growth. His responsibilities also include the implementation of the company's e-mobility strategy in the geographic market, showcasing his leadership in a rapidly evolving industry. Additionally, he contributes to Dana's vision as a member of each of the company's India-based boards of directors.
