Guj Govt signs Rs 11.13 Bn MoUs ahead of Vibrant Summit-2024

In preparation for the Vibrant Summit-2024, the government of Gujarat has entered into four MoUs, solidifying investments totaling Rs 1,113 crore. The upcoming tenth Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, slated for January 2024, aims to position Gujarat as a premier investment destination.

Sources indicate that, in its weekly MoU signing initiative carried out in three phases, the Gujarat administration has already secured 14 MoUs worth Rs 3,874 crore.

This move is expected to usher in the establishment of new industries, paving the way for over 9,500 potential job openings in the foreseeable future. This development is poised to catalyze employment across various sectors, encompassing 2,100 positions in textiles, 700 in engineering, 500 in pharmaceuticals, and 3,085 in chemicals.

The MoU signing event witnessed the presence of Chief Secretary Raj Kumar, Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister K. Kailashnathan, Industries Commissioner Sandip Sagale, Joint Commissioner Kuldeep Arya, and other senior officials from iNDEXTb.
